Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights activist and charity philanthropist. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she embarked on a successful and long-lasting career in human rights as well as international law. Clients include a number of prominent nation states, such as Armenia and the struggle it has to get the Turkish Government acknowledge the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged and later married to American star George Clooney, instantly making her famous in pop culture. Prior to this she was respected and admired in the legal world for her achievements and skill at representing clients. She has a wide range of tasks, ranging that ranges from social justice and issues relating with human rights, to representing various multinational corporations at court and in negotiations regarding government regulation. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is situated in London, and she was an attorney.
